Lane was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Hawaii with his parents in 1970. He attended the University of Hawaii, where he attained a degree in business administration with a major in accounting. He served in the accounting profession in both the public and private sectors before entering the financial services industry. His financial services career started in 1987 with PaineWebber in Honolulu, and he transferred to the Maui office in 1990. Lane holds a general securities registration, a branch office manager's license, and insurance licenses in life and health and is registered to do business in several states. He has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation from fi360. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. Lane is married to Irene, who also works at Commonwealth. They have five daughters and six granddaughters. In his spare time, Lane enjoys reading, golf, and traveling. You can also find him taking on challenging home repair projects and perfecting the art of making a good pizza.

Brandon was born on the island of Maui, where he attended St. Anthony's High School before continuing his education at Chaminade University in Honolulu. He holds a BA in business administration, as well as a master's degree in business administration. Brandon has worked in the area of financial services for several years and holds a general securities registration through Commonwealth Financial Network®. In his free time, Brandon enjoys going to the beach and working in the garden. An avid cook, Brandon loves to cook for his family and close friends.

Irene was born in Tokyo, Japan. She lived in Germany, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia prior to moving to Honolulu. Irene started her career in the financial services industry in 1986. She was the operations manager of a competing firm on Maui when she met Lane in 1991. They did a "merger and acquisition" in November 1991 and have worked together since 1992. Irene also has her general securities registration in addition to insurance licenses for the state of Hawaii. Irene enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

David was born at Tripler Army Hospital because his father was a career Air Force enlisted personnel for over 20 years, traveling between Japan and Hawaii. David and his late wife, Judy Ann, were married for over 45 years. They have two children, Grant and his late daughter, Joanna. David had spent 11 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Pfizer Laboratories after acquiring his bachelor's degree in chemistry. While seeking his MBA, David switched direction and entered the investment advisory industry by starting with PaineWebber. He is a jack of all trades; from carpentry to auto repair, David fixes everything around his home. David recently adopted a rescue dog named Buttons.

Grant is the son of David Omura and grew up most of his life on the Big Island. He joins David at Commonwealth after leaving his previous job of 15 years with the video game retailer GameStop. During his time with GameStop, he was a store manager mentor responsible for managing multiple locations in Hawaii. Beyond managing storefront locations, he was responsible for training and developing future retail management. He brings skills in leadership/management, customer relations, and retail/corporate knowledge with him. As a licensed financial advisor, his focus is on your best interests and how to achieve your needs and goals. Understanding everyone has different and unique lifestyles, needs, and goals is key. Helping people is at the core of his beliefs and it starts through education and guidance that he can provide.
